Juvederm is among facial fillers used in the treatment of wrinkles and other facial depressions that make you appear aged. Technology

Discussion before Juvederm treatment

Some conditions include allergy history to lidocaine and other anesthetics among other forms of allergic reactions to drugs. Medical and Health Considerations

Almost everyone is a candidate for JUVÉDERM® treatment. JUVÉDERM® is non-allergenic and not derived from animal sources; it is a good choice for patients who have tried collagen injections but did not experience the results they wanted. The most common side effect from using JUVÉDERM® is slight swelling around the area of the injections. Very rarely, a patient will experience severe rather than slight inflammation, with lumpiness and redness. These symptoms disappear within a few days. In general, patients who have looser, thin skin; enlarged (keloid-type) scars; or women who are pregnant or lactating are not the best candidates for JUVÉDERM®.

Juvederm Results

A successful, Juvederm treatment can last up to six months or more. Your Juvederm Chicago doctor will recommend return visits for touch-ups as when the HA acid absorbs in the body, it gradually loses its performing power, the wrinkles will begin to show. Regular touch-ups will reduce fast formation of wrinkles. It is worth noting that Juvederm filler is not a solution to stop the aging clock but only slows the aging signs.
